WHAT IS IT?
When the dog no longer pulls you and starts to follow you.
WHY DO YOU WANT TO STOP THE PULLING?
• A dog that pulls is likely to become more aggressive as time goes on.
• Most dogs that pull do not get walked.
• A dog that pulls usually develops a gag reflex due to trachea damage.
• A dog that pulls can cause injury to the owner by damaging their rotator cuff or worse by pulling them in front of a moving vehicle.
THE BENEFIT OF A DOG THAT FOLLOWS YOU
VERSUS THE DOG THAT PULLS YOU
• The dog becomes much calmer.
• Psychologically the dog sees you as the pack leader versus the person that they have to constantly protect.
• The people you meet learn to relax because they see you in full control of your dog.
• Training for other activities (playing ball, fetch, etc) becomes easier because the dog sees you as the one they must listen to.
• The dog will start giving you dog love known as adoration.
WHAT IS ADORATION?
• Adoration is when the dog is looking at you like their long lost 4 legged mother. A dog will do anything for its mother.
• Training becomes easier because the dog tries harder to please you.
• Adoration is always a salute to you as the most important person in the dog’s life.
